Eagles shoot 310 in first round of Bay Valley Intercollegiate
The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team is ninth at the Bay Valley Intercollegiate after shooting a team 310 in the first round. The Screaming Eagles were led by freshman Jason Pinkstaff (Huntingburg, Indiana), who was tied for 10th with a first round 73 in his first collegiate tournament.
Sophomore Christian Farley (Henderson, Kentucky) followed Pinkstaff with a 74, tying for 12th.
USI will finish the Bay Valley Intercollegiate on Saturday with a final round. Following Saturday’s conclusion, the Eagles will finish the fall season at the Spectrum Fall Collegiate at the Perry Park Golf Course in Perry Park, Kentucky, Friday and Saturday, October 3-4.
