Eagles are tied for ninth after first round
The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team is ninth after the first round of the Great Lakes Regional Tournament at Deer Track Golf Course in Auburn, Indiana. The tournament is third of three regionals that are used determine qualifying teams for the NCAA II Tournament in two weeks.
The Eagles were tied with Lewis University for ninth with a first round 301. Grand Valley State is the tournament leader with a 281, which is three under par as a team.
USI is led by sophomore Jason Pinkstaff (Huntingburg, Indiana) with a first round 74.
