USI concludes fall with ninth place finish
KANSAS CITY, MO–The University of Southern Indiana men’s golf team concluded its fall schedule with a ninth place finish at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri. The intercollegiate was hosted by the University of Missouri-Kansas City at the Oakwood Country Club.
The Screaming Eagles fell two slots in the final round, after shooting a 315 and finishing the tournament with a three-round 921 (317-289-315).
USI was led by senior Craig Toler (Moweaqua, Illinois) led the Eagles with a three-round 231 (81-73-77) and finished tied for 32nd. Freshman Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) and junior Christian Farley (Henderson, Kentucky) followed Toler, each tying for 40th with a 233.
Hilliard produced his 233 (80-75-78) by shooting the team’s second best score, 78, on Tuesday. Farley, who had the team’s best round of the tournament with a 69 on Monday, shot an 84 on Monday to finish with a 233 (80-69-84).
