USI places 14th in the second regional tournament
CARROLLTON, Ky.–The University of Southern Indiana men’s golf team placed 14th at the second NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional of 2004-05 in Carrollton, Kentucky, on March 12-13. The tournament was hosted by Northern Kentucky University at the Perry Park Golf Course.
Screaming Eagles’ freshman Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) led the Eagles, tying for 32nd with a two-round 151 (77-74). Hilliard was followed by freshman Brandon Howard (Mt. Vernon, Indiana), who was tied for 49th with a two-round 154 (79-75), while senior Craig Toler (Moweaqua, Illinois) tied for 55th with a 155 (80-75).
USI will continue its spring season Thursday at the University of Indianapolis Spring Invitational at Timbergate Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.
