USI finishes 14th in Regional #3
AUBURN, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team finished the 2004-05 season by placing 14th at the season's third Great Lakes Regional Tournament. The Screaming Eagles shot a two round 607 (300-307).
USI shot 17 strokes better than last year's regional at the Deer Track Golf Course, but could not maintain pace with Wayne State University. Wayne State shot three strokes under par for the tournament and finished first with a 573 (283-290).
Eagles' freshman Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) led the Eagles by tying for 29th with a two-round 148 (74-74). Senior Craig Toler followed Hilliard in 41st place with a 151 (73-78).
