USI men's golf ties for 11th in Great Lakes Tournament

COLUMBUS, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's golf tied for 11th at the third of three NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional touranments. USI shot a team 590 (299-291) over the two-day tournament.
The Screaming Eagles were 15-strokes off the pace set by Bellarmine, which won the tournament with a 36-hole 575 (286-289).
USI was led by sophomore Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois), who tied for 14th with a 145 (72-73). He was followed by sophomore Nick Frazer (Evansville, Indiana), who was stroke back and tied for 23rd with a 146 (74-72).
The Eagles will await word on a berth in the NCAA Division II Super-Regional to be held May 1-3. The tournament pairing will be announced April 21.
