Men's Golf hits first shot in September
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team is ready to make a run at the GLVC Championship and make an appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament next spring.
USI, which was fourth in the GLVC last year, tees-off the 2006-07 campaign on September 8 in the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. The fall tournament series is highlighted by an appearance in the Great Lakes Region Fall Invitational September 24-25 the North Alabama Invitational October 9-10 and the Indian Bayou Invitational October 16-17.

The Screaming Eagles are led into the 2006-07 campaign by juniors
Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) and
Nick Frazer (Evansville, Indiana). Hilliard was named All-GLVC last year and led the team with a 75.3 strokes per round (spr) average.
Frazer, who won the Tri-State Amateur Championship during the summer, followed Hilliard with 75.5 spr.

Drew Dunkerly (Linton, Indiana). New to the team in 2006-07 are sophomore
Keaton Bradshaw (Carmi, Illinois) and freshman
Levi Cox (Wadesville, Indiana).
