USI men's golf is ninth at Bulldog Invitational

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team was ninth in its first tournament of the year, playing in the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. The tournament was held at the Kirksville Golf Course.
USI was led by freshman Matt Hancock (Ft. Branch, Indiana), who tied for 16th in his first collegiate tournament with a two-round 149 (76-73). Senior Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) followed Hancock by tying for 24th with a two-day 150 (71-79).
The next action for the Eagles will the Great Lakes Fall Regional, hosted by Grand Valley State University. The tournament will be held at Hawks Head Golf Course.
