Eagles fourth after second day at GLVC Championship

COLUMBUS, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team shot a second-round 303 and fell two spots to fourth overall at the GLVC Championship on Monday.
The Screaming Eagles' overall score of 602 (299, 303), is three strokes behind third-place Bellarmine University (598) and 22 strokes behind the leader, the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds (580).
Drury University is in second place with an overall score of 597 after shooting a 293 Monday, while Lewis University's second-day 294 has the Flyers just one stroke behind USI in fifth place with a 603.

Ted O'Brien (Santa Claus, Indiana) shot a 75 for the second day in a row and is tied for 12th overall with a two-round total of 150. Fellow senior
Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) followed his opening-day 73 with a second-round score of 77 and is tied with O'Brien for 12th place along with five other golfers.
Senior
Nick Frazer (Evansville, Indiana) is one stroke behind his teammates with a two-round total of 151 (78, 73). Frazer is currently in a four-way tie for 19th overall.
Freshman
Matt Hancock (Ft. Branch) is tied for 26th with a 153 (75, 78), and sophomore
Aaron Anderson (Elizabethtown, Kentucky) is tied for 47th with a 157 (76, 81) after the second round of competition.
Drury's Thomas Hay is the overall leader at 143 after finishing the first day at with a one-under 71 and the second day with an even-par 72.
The Screaming Eagles and the rest of their conference competition wrap up the GLVC Championship Tuesday, April 15 with the final round of play.
