Eagles are fifth in the GLVC tournament

OTTER CREEK, Ind. -- The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team placed fifth after three rounds at the GLVC Championships in Columbus, Indiana, on Thursday and Friday. The conference tournament was held at the Otter Creek Golf Course.
The Screaming Eagles finished the tournament with a three-round 910 (307-304-299), 46 strokes off the pace set by conference champion University of Indianapolis. USI was fifth throughout all three rounds of the tournament. UIndy shot a three-round, even par 864 (294-294-276), posting a 12-under 276 in the final round win the crown.
Individually, senior
Keaton Bradshaw (Carmi, Illinois) led the way for the Eagles by tying for 10th with a seven-over 223 (77-74-72). He was followed by junior
Drew Mathews (New Harmony, Indiana), who was 26th with a 230 (78-75-77), and sophomore
Matt Hancock (Ft. Branch, Indiana), who tied for 27th with a 231 (75-76-80).
The Eagles return to action April 20-22 in the NCAA Midwest Regional Invitational at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Indiana.
