USI men’s golf places 12th in Great Lakes Regional Tournament
The University of Southern Indiana men’s golf team placed 12th in the first of three Great Lakes Regional Tournaments for 2001-02 at Blackberry Patch Golf Course in Coldwater Michigan. The district tournaments are used to determine the teams that will advance to the NCAA Division II Tournament in May.
The Screaming Eagles, which shot a two-day 639 (315-324), were led by junior Andy Skodinski (New Ross, Indiana). Skodinski tied for 15th with a two-round 153 (77-76), his tying his season-best with a second-day 76.
