The University of Southern Indiana men’s soccer team has clinched a spot in the 2002 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament, scheduled for Wednesday November 6, through Sunday, November 10. The tournament berth is the second under USI Head Coach Dan Hogan.
Seeding for the tournament is still to be determined. The Screaming Eagles, who are 8-7-0 overall and 5-3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, are still in the hunt to host a first round match and could move up as high as the number two seed with a pair of victories this week.
USI hosts Saint Joseph’s College Friday, October 25, and the University of Indianapolis for Senior Day Sunday, October 27. Match time on Friday is 5:00 p.m. while start time on Sunday is noon. The final regular season match for the Eagles will be Wednesday, October 30, versus McKendree College in a 7:30 p.m. match at Strassweg Field.
