Ian Bray named GLVC Player of the Week
The GLVC named University of Southern Indiana junior midfielder Ian Bray (Shetland, Scotland) its men’s soccer Player of the Week. Bray is the first USI student athlete to earn GLVC Player of the Week honors this year.
Bray earned the weekly honor after leading USI to its first-ever sweep of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Lewis University. He came off the bench to score the game winning goal in the overtime win over UWP and assisted senior forward/midfielder Matt Settles in the 1-0 victory over Lewis.
Bray and the Eagles will resume conference action Friday, September 26, at the University of Indianapolis. Match time is 3 p.m.
