Whitney signs with USI men’s soccer
The University of Southern Indiana men’s soccer team announced the signing of Jay Whitney, a 6’3” senior forward/back at Heritage Hills High School, to a letter of intent for the 2004 season. Whitney is the sixth player to sign with USI Head Coach Dan Hogan this spring.

HHHS won its basketball conference championship each of the last three seasons and took the sectional crown in 2003.
“Jay will add size, strength, and speed to our 2004 roster,” said Hogan. “We are excited about his potential as an attacking player.
Whitney joins forwards Andrew Bass (St. Peters, Missouri) and Evan Stoll (Washington, Indiana) forward/midfielders Jacy Brimm (Evansville, Indiana) and Corey Hendon (Madisonville, Kentucky) and midfielder Quintin Myers (Washington, Indiana) in signing with the Eagles.
