Men's Soccer falls in double overtime

FINDLAY, Ohio The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team lost in double overtime for the second time in five matches, losing to the University of Findlay, 1-0, in Findlay, Ohio, Sunday afternoon. USI goes to 5-8-0 overall, while Findlay is 5-4-2.

The Oilers put the winning goal into the back of the net with 2:13 remaining in the second 10-minute "sudden victory" overtime period. Findlay's Kevin McCoy scored the game-winner at the 107:47 mark of the match.

The Screaming Eagles resumes GLVC action on the road next weekend when they play at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Kansas, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. and at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, October 16 at 2:30 p.m.
