Complete 2006 Men's Soccer Schedule
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team has released its 2006 schedule. The men's team begins a new regular season campaign at Strassweg Field versus Oakland City University on August 29.
Prior to the season, the Screaming Eagles host Southwestern Illinois College at Strassweg Field for a scrimmage on August 12. USI has a pair of road exhibition games, beginning at Columbia College on August 16. The final men's soccer exhibition game of the fall will be the annual Mayor's Cup at the University of Evansville on August 20.
In addition to the men's home opener against Oakland City, the Eagles will play non-conference matches at home against Mercyhurst University, Gannon University, and Harris-Stowe State College.
The Eagles open the 13-game GLVC schedule on the road when the teams play at Lewis University on September 1. The first GLVC home games will be against Drury University on September 8.
The defending GLVC champion make an appearance at Strassweg Field this fall when Rockhurst University comes to Evansville on September 10.
