USI men's soccer 2007 schedule released

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team will open the 2007 campaigns against regional foes the final week of August when it travels to Pennsylvania to play Mercyhurst College and Gannon University. The road trip kicks-off a 19-match schedule that includes nine home games at Strassweg Field.
The home schedule begins September 2 when Georgetown College visits Strassweg Field.
Following USI's home opener, the Eagles travel across the Ohio River to play Kentucky Wesleyan College to begin GLVC action on September 4. The firs conference game at home will be versus Saint Joseph's College on September 14.
In addition to Georgetown and Saint Joseph's, the home schedule includes non-conference matches with Truman State University on September 21 and Harris Stowe State University on October 28 (Senior Day). The GLVC portion of the home schedule includes the University of Indianapolis on September 16 the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on October 5 Lewis University on October 7 the University of Missouri- St. Louis on October 19 and the University of Missouri-Rolla on October 21.
The road portion of the GLVC schedule has USI going to 2006 conference champion Rockhurst University on September 30 and 2005 league champions Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on September 9.
