USI men’s soccer falls to Truman State 2-0

The University of Southern Indiana men’s soccer team dropped a non-conference match to Truman State University, 2-0, Friday night at Strassweg Field. USI fall below the .500 mark to 6-7-0 overall and has its two-match winning streak stopped. TSU goes to 7-5-2 overall.
The Bulldogs scored both goals in the first half with the first coming at 12:13 and the second at 39:12. TSU out shot the Eagles 15-11.
The Eagles will resume Great Lakes Valley Conference action Sunday, October 14, when they travel to Kentucky Wesleyan College to play the Panthers in a 2:30 p.m. match. USI is still in the GLVC Playoff hunt at 2-5-0 in the league. USI has won its last two conference contests.
