USI men's tennis is perfect in the GLVC once again

The University of Southern Indiana tennis team finished with a perfect 8-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and raised its overall record to 12-3 overall with a 9-0 win over Lewis University at the USI Tennis Courts Saturday morning.

The Screaming Eagles have been perfect in four of the last five the GLVC regular seasons. USI also has lost a grand total of two dual matches to GLVC teams since 1998. The Eagles will now enter post-season action looking for their fourth straight GLVC Tournament championship and their third straight NCAA Division II Tournament appearance.

The GLVC Tournament will be Friday and Saturday, April 19-20, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
