USI men’s tennis falls to Western Kentucky
The University of Southern Indiana men’s tennis team dropped its 2003 season opener Saturday afternoon, falling to Western Kentucky University, 4-3. The Screaming Eagles, 0-1, split in singles action but fell in doubles action, 2-1 (Division I tennis counts doubles play as one point).
USI’s victories were in number four, five, and six singles as well as number two doubles. The Eagles will head to Orlando, Florida, next Monday through Wednesday, March 10-12, to take on Cleveland State University, Western New England College, and St. Cloud State University. The Eagles will be at the University of Evansville Tuesday, March 25.
