Weather forces USI men’s tennis to cancel match
Poor weather has forced the University of Southern Indiana men’s tennis team to cancel its match with Indiana University-Southeast. The match was scheduled for this afternoon at the USI Tennis Courts.
The Screaming Eagles (8-6 overall, 6-0 GLVC) will wrap up their regular season schedule this Friday and Saturday. USI will play the University of Indianapolis on Friday and Northern Kentucky University on Saturday.
USI has won four of the last five GLVC regular season championships and is in search of its fifth consecutive GLVC Tournament title. A pair of wins this weekend would give the Eagles their sixth GLVC regular season title since 1994.
Friday’s match is slated for 3 p.m. while Saturday’s match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
