USI men’s tennis tops Murray State

MURRAY, Ky.—The University of Southern Indiana men’s tennis team posted a 5-2 road victory over NCAA Division I opponent Murray State University Saturday.
The Screaming Eagles (3-3) swept doubles to pick up a 1-0 advantage before taking four of six in singles competition.
Sophomore Joe Epkey (Greenwood, Indiana), ranked second nationally, picked up his 16th consecutive singles victory in team competition. Epkey (16-3) defeated Fadi Zamjaoui 6-2, 6-3 in number one singles competition.
USI will return to action March 15 when it hosts DePauw University at the USI Tennis Courts. The match is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
