USI men’s tennis falls to DePauw

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men’s tennis team fell to DePauw University, 7-2, Tuesday at the USI Tennis Courts.
USI (3-4) fell behind 2-1 after doubles action and lost 5-1 in singles play. Sophomore Joe Epkey (Greenwood, Indiana) extended his winning streak in match play to 17 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at number one singles, while he teamed with brother Jarrod Epkey to pick up an 8-1 victory at number one doubles.
Joe Epkey improved his overall record to 17-3 in singles play, while the Epkey tandem improved to 18-2 in doubles action.
The Screaming Eagles will return to action Saturday when they take on Rockhurst University in St. Louis, Missouri. Match time is slated for 2:30 p.m.
