USI avoids shutout against Murray State
EVANSVILLE, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team lost 8-1 to Murray State University Saturday evening at Advantage Court and Fitness. USI falls to 0-4 this year, while Murray State goes to 1-1.
USI's lone victory came at number four singles when freshman Nathan Moore won in a third set tie-breaker (7-6, 3-6, 10-0). Sophomore Andrew McGuire lost a three-set tie-breaker at number three singles (7-5, 3-6, 10-4).
The next action for the Screaming Eagles will be February 18 when they host the University of Tennessee-Martin at Advantage Court and Fitness.
