USI finishes fourth in GLVC Tournament

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team finished fourth in the GLVC Tournament after dropping the third-place match, 5-2, to the University of Indianapolis Saturday morning in Edwardsville, Illinois. The GLVC Tournament was hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
The Screaming Eagles' victories came at number two doubles and number three singles. Freshman Nathan Moore (Santee, California) and sophomore Andrew McGuire (Greenfield, Indiana) won 8-1 at number two doubles, while McGuire won in straight sets (6-1, 6-3) at numbe three singles. Greyhounds led 2-1 after the doubles and posted singles wins at number two, five, and six.
