USI drops a 6-1 match at UTM

MARTIN, Tenn. The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team lost its first dual match of the year, 6-1, at the University of Tennessee-Martin. The dual match was the only one of the fall for the Eagles, who fall to 0-1.
After UTM earned the doubles point by sweeping the three matches, the Skyhawks sealed the match by winning five of the six singles contests. UTM finishes its fall dual match schedule with a 3-0 mark.
USI's lone highlight was a victory at number one singles by senior Christoph Burger (Germany). Burger defeated UTM's Alfredo Krywacz in straight sets (7-6, 6-4).
