Eagles fall to Eastern Kentucky, 7-0
The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team lost, 7-0, Friday afternoon to an Eastern Kentucky University team who also defeated Georgetown University in the Friday night match. The loss sets USI's record back to 1-4, while Eastern Kentucky evens their record to 6-6.
Winners for Eastern Kentucky were Lars Gratzki, Johannes John, Mel Segota, Vadzim Ivanis, and Francisco Fontoura who all won in straight sets against the Screaming Eagles. USI's Nathan Sexton (Santee, California) and Christoph Burger (Germany) were both out sick for the match.
The next action for the Eagles will be over spring break when the travel to Hilton Head, SC with opponents still to be announced.
