Eagles even up GLVC record with wins over UIndy, NKU

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team posted a 6-3 victory over the University of Indianapolis Friday evening, then came back Saturday to top Northern Kentucky University, 5-4, and pull to the .500 mark in league play.
USI (5-7, 2-2 GLVC) gained wins at number two and three doubles to take a 2-1 advantage over the Greyhounds Friday evening. The Screaming Eagles clinched their first league win by posting straight-set victories at number one, three, four, and six singles.
On Saturday, USI came back from a 2-1 deficit after falling at number one and three doubles. The Eagles recorded straight-set victories at number one, two, and three singles and benefited from a super-set tie-breaker in the first set at number five singles to post their fourth straight-set victory of the match and pull off the come-from-behind win.
