Eddy named All-American at
NCAA II Outdoor Championships

University of Southern Indiana senior Melissa Eddy (Hope, Indiana) earned All-American honors with an eighth place finish in the 3000-meter run at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The outdoor championships are being hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Eddy took the eighth place slot with a time of 10:18.53, 22 seconds behind Marjo Venalainen of Kennesaw State University with a time of 9:56.71. USI sophomore Jenny Farmer (Princeton, Indiana) placed 11^th with a time of 10:30.48.
