Jennifer
Mullikin,Mullikin was the Screaming Eagles' starting first baseman during the last two seasons. She finished her career ranked third all-time at USI with 816 career putouts, most of which came during her junior and senior campaigns.
As a senior in 2007, Mullikin put together her best season at the plate when she hit .282 with seven doubles, a home run, and 14 RBIs. She hit a career-high three home runs in 2006, including a solo shot against Northern Kentucky University in the NCAA II Great Lakes Region Tournament.
"Jenn will continue to be a big part of our program," Kunkle said. "She worked hard to be the best that she could be as a player and will use that same drive as a coach. Her work ethic earned her the respect of her former teammates and will be a great asset to our program."
A native of Greenwood, Indiana, and a graduate of Center Grove High School, Mullikin is pursuing a degree in physical education at USI.
