2007: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors after finishing in a tie for
third in the GLVC with 18 wins and a tie for second in the conference with
two saves...posted an 18-13 record in her first season with the Eagles and
her first semester of competitive softball since the spring of
2005...finished third in the GLVC in innings pitched (194.0), third in
appearances (37), and tied for second in the conference in starts
(29)...showed good command of the strike zone as she posted a 3.7-to-1
strikeout-to-walk ratio...walked just 37 batters while recording 138
strikeouts...led USI with 20 complete games and five complete-game
shutouts...posted a 2.42 ERA and held opposing batters to a .252 hitting
percentage...took a perfect game into the seventh inning before giving up a
one-out double in a 6-0 victory over Rockhurst...posted a career-high nine
strikeouts in three games, including her three-hit shutout against
Wisconsin-Parkside in the GLVC Tournament...went 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA in the
final weekend of the regular-season to help the Eagles move from an eight
seed on the verge of potentially missing the conference tournament to a
fifth seed.
TRANSFER: Transferred from Florida State University where she was a member of the Seminoles' 2004 ACC and regional championship team that placed fifth at the NCAA I Women's College World Series...played behind two of the best pitchers in the nation in All-Americans Jessica van der Linden and Casey Hunter during her freshman season...appeared in three games and made one start...recorded four strikeouts and issued just one walk in her only start.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Chipley High School (Chipley, Florida) where she was named the 2A Area Player of the Year after her senior season...was 24-2 with an 0.09 ERA as a senior...earned first-team All-State and All-Region honors as a senior and was selected to play in the FACA All-Star games for the North Team...was the 5A Area Player of the Year as a junior and was named first-team All-Area at Southside High School...also earned All-City honors as a sophomore...also was a member of the National Honor Society and was on the honor roll all four years in high school...graduated from CHS with honors.
PERSONAL: Born November 29, 1984...daughter of Wayne and Donna Harrison...sister Traci played at Milligan College (Tennessee).
