2008: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors for the second straight year...played in 38 games, making five stars...played behind an experienced outfield that included seniors Kathy Wood and Kirsten Morgan...hit. .278 with a doubles and three RBIs...went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs in USI's 5-2 victory over Oakland City.
2007: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors as a freshman...hit .355 with a double, a triple, three RBIs, and 11 runs scored...two of her RBIs came in USI's 3-0 victory over Missouri-St. Louis...was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored against eventual NCAA II National Champion SIU Edwardsville...had multiple hits in three games...went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Speedway High School (Speedway) where she earned eight varsity letters in basketball and softball...earned All-County and All-Conference honors as a junior and senior in both softball and basketball...led SHS's softball team in seven offensive categories as a junior and a senior...also led basketball team in scoring and three-pointers as a junior and senior...helped SHS to West Central Conference titles in basketball and softball in 2006 ...earned Academic All-State honors in softball and honorable mention Academic All-State honors in basketball as a senior...the salutatorian of the SHS Class of 2006, Raikes also was a member of the National Honor Society and was an honor roll student...in summer ball, Raikes helped the Indy Crush to the Hoosier State Championship as well as a berth at the 2005 and 2006 ASA National Championships.
