TRANSFER: Transferred from Wabash Valley Junior College (Mt. Carmel,
Illinois) where she hit .326 with a home run and 67 RBIs in 2005 and
2006...earned second-team All-Region XXIV honors as a freshman and
sophomore...helped Wabash to a 97-11 record and back-to-back Great Rivers
Athletic Conference championships...hit .353 and drove in 33 runs as a
sophomore in 2006...had a .300 batting average and 34 RBIs as a freshman in
2005...helped Wabash to 42 consecutive victories and the NJCAA I Region
XXIV title in 2005...Wabash finished fourth at the national tournament in
2005 with a record of 50-5.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from North High School (Evansville)
where she earned nine varsity letters in softball, volleyball, and
basketball...earned academic honors and was a member of the National Honor
Society.
PERSONAL: Born September 5, 1984...daughter of Richard and Cheryl Stewart.
