Huff to be inducted into UE Hall of Fame

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana assistant softball coach
Jessica Huff (Evansville, Indiana) will be inducted into her alma mater's Hall of Fame Saturday evening.
Huff graduated from the University of Evansville were she was a two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year as well as a two-time Easton All-American. She hit .375 with 11 doubles, four triples, four home runs, and 29 RBIs during her senior year in 2001.
During her four seasons at UE, Huff was a three-time All-MVC and All-Region selection. Huff, who set nine career marks at UE, finished her collegiate career as the MVC's all-time leader in hits (254) and doubles (56). She also finished second all-time in the MVC in RBIs (145), third all-time in home runs (23), and fifth all-time in runs scored (134).
A native of Evansville and a graduate of North High School, Huff is a member of NHS's Hall of Fame. She was an All-Metro Player of the Year in 1996 and 1997.
Huff graduated from UE in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education at USI. She joined USI's coaching staff in the summer of 2006.
