USI-Lewis softball doubleheader moved up an hour

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Due to the forecast of rain showers in the Evansville area Thursday afternoon, the University of Southern Indiana-Lewis University GLVC softball doubleheader has been moved up to an 11 a.m. start time at the USI Softball Field. The two teams were originally slated to start at noon.

The Screaming Eagles enter the doubleheader with a 9-27 overall mark, 1-9 in the GLVC, while the Flyers are 25-12, 7-5 in the GLVC. USI also hosts Quincy University (17-19, 8-2 GLVC) in another GLVC twinbill Friday at 2 p.m.
