USI women’s tennis splits in day one of GLVC Tournament
The University of Southern Indiana women’s tennis team split its two matches on first day of the GLVC Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana. USI, the fourth seed, will play the University of Indianapolis for third place on Saturday, October 11, at 9 a.m. Indianapolis is the third seed in the tournament.
The Screaming Eagles (7-4) opened the tournament with a 5-0 victory over fifth-seeded Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, but was blanked in their semifinal match with top-seeded Northern Kentucky University, 5-0.
