USI baseball rained out at KWC
Eagles remain second in region poll
OWENSBORO, Ky. -- The University of Southern Indiana baseball game at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky, was called due to rain in the top of the third inning. The game, which will not be rescheduled, was suspended with USI leading, 5-2.
The 22nd-ranked Screaming Eagles, who remained second in the latest NCAA Division II Midwest Region poll released today, conclude the 2009 regular season this weekend with a four-game series at Quincy University. USI needs one victory to clinch the GLVC West Division Crown for a second straight year.
