freshman...was third on the team with 2.67 kills per game...had 15 matches
with at least 10 kills, including a season-best 18 kills against
Drury...also had a season-best 21.0 points against Drury (18 kills, 4.0
block assists, 1 service ace)...reached double-digit point totals in 17
matches...came on strong in the back row toward the end of the season,
reaching double-digit totals in digs in the last three matches...had one
double-double with a season-high 22 digs and 13 kills against Missouri-St.
Louis in the regular-season finale...in addition to her 2.67 kills per game,
season averages included .195 attacking percentage, 1.51 digs per game, 0.44
blocks per game, and 3.01 points per game...also had a season-best 5.0
blocks at Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri S&T).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Warren Central High School where she earned first-team All-State honors as a senior...helped WCHS to the semifinals of the Lawrence North sectional, losing to eventual Indiana Class 4A state champion Indianapolis Cathedral...was a three-time All-Conference and All-County performer...also was named to the Indianapolis Star's High School Volleyball Super Team after racking up 305 kills, a .456 attacking percentage, 225 digs, and 82 blocks as a senior in 2006...also was named the All-Indianapolis East Team Player of the Year...earned All-Conference and All-County as a junior and sophomore...ranked third in the state in blocks as a sophomore...also played softball, soccer, ran track, and participated in cheerleading at WCHS.
CLUB: Helped her Indianapolis Juniors squad to a 13th-place performance at nationals...also played for the 18-1 Team Indianapolis club squad.
PERSONAL: Born December 16, 1988...daughter of Roland and Lettie Oliver...member of the National Honor Society and honor roll at WCHS.
