2007: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors after playing in 22 matches and
60 games as a freshman...averaged 2.22 digs per game in her first collegiate
season...came on strong in the last six matches, reaching double-figure dig
totals in four of those contests...had 11 or more digs in five matches,
including a season-best 24 digs in USI's regular-season finale against
Missouri-St. Louis...also recorded a season-best four service aces at SIU
Edwardsville.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Hamilton Heights High School where she was a three-year captain and finished second in the state in service aces per game (1.27)...was a three-time Noblesville Ledger Athlete of the Year for volleyball, a four-time All-Conference performer, and a three-time All-County performer...recorded one of the top individual performances in the state in 2006 when she posted 10 service aces and hammered out 33 kills against Perry Meridian High School on August 26...recorded 339 kills and 279 digs while helping HHS to the semifinals of the 2006 Yorktown Section Tournament...helped HHS to the Mid-Indiana Conference championship in 2005.
CLUB: Helped her 17-1 Circle City club team to a fifth-place finish in
the Open Division at the 2006 Junior Olympics.
PERSONAL: Born April 27, 1989...daughter of Stephen and Teri Curnutt...has
a black belt in karate...academically, was in the top 10 of her high school
class three straight years and earned the Presidential Academic Excellence
Award three times.
