Eagles place four on All-GLVC teams,
Wilson, Ryan garner first-team honors
2005 All-GLVC Teams
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team had four players selected to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team in a vote by the league's coaches.
Junior outside hitter Emily Ryan (Batesville, Indiana) and sophomore setter Stephanie Wilson (Terre Haute, Indiana) were selected to the first team, while senior middle blocker Laura Ellerbusch (Newburgh, Indiana) and junior outside hitter Chelse Doubler (Griffin, Indiana) were named second-team and honorable mention, respectively.

Emily Ryan |
Ryan, who was named All-GLVC for the first time, led the Screaming Eagles with 3.69 kills per game during the regular season and was third in the conference in GLVC-only matches with 3.98 kpg. She earned GLVC Player of the Week honors the final week of the season after averaging 4.88 kpg and 3.62 digs per game during the final weekend of the regular season.

Stephanie Wilson |
Wilson is on the All-GLVC first team for the second straight season after averaging 11.98 assists per game, 2.76 dpg, and 0.54 blocks per game during the regular season. She finished the season with 1,407 assists and now ranks second all-time at USI with 2,878 career assists. Her selection marks sixth straight season that a USI setter has been named first-team All-GLVC.

Laura Ellerbusch |
Ellerbusch, who is on the All-GLVC team for the third straight season, finished her career at USI as the school's all-time leader in attacking percentage (.325). She led the team with 1.12 bpg, a .271 attacking percentage, and was second on the squad with 3.25 kpg.

Chelse Doubler |
Doubler is making her first appearance on the All-GLVC squad after averaging 3.17 kpg and a team-best 0.53 service aces per game. She ranked fifth during the regular season in service aces per game and second in GLVC-only matches.
USI finished the season with a 19-13 record after falling in the first round of the GLVC Tournament. The Eagles were 11-5 in the GLVC.
