Eagles host Quincy, UMSL
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team hosts Quincy University Friday at 7 p.m. and the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday at 3 p.m.
USI (8-5, 2-3 GLVC) is coming off a tough three-game loss to No. 20 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Tuesday night. The Screaming Eagles have lost three of their last five matches and are looking to swing momentum into their favor as they head into the second half of the GLVC schedule.
The Eagles swept both Quincy and Missouri-St. Louis a year ago and are a combined 23-3 against the two squads since 2000. USI has defeated Quincy four straight times and Missouri-St. Louis nine straight times.
Quincy (4-10, 1-2 GLVC) has lost two straight matches heading into its match with USI Friday.
Missouri-St. Louis (5-8, 2-1 GLVC) defeated Quincy in three games Tuesday night to snap a four-match losing streak.
