Eagles cruise to 3-1 victory,
Doubler, Bealor combine for 40 kills

The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team got a combined 40 kills out of senior outside hitter Chelse Doubler
(Griffin, Indiana) and freshman outside hitter Courtney Bealor
(LaPorte, Indiana) as it defeated Quincy University 30-21, 30-23, 30-32, 30-21 Friday night at the Physical Activities Center.
Doubler, who recorded kills on nine of her first 14 attacks, finished with a match and career-high 25 kills to go with a .302 attacking percentage. Bealor posted her first career double-double with a career-best 15 kills and with 10 digs. She also attacked at a .500 clip.
USI (9-5, 3-3 GLVC), which hit .295 as a team while holding the Lady Hawks (4-11, 1-3 GLVC) to a .163 attacking percentage, also got nine kills and four service aces out of junior middle blocker Molly Rahman
(Ferdinand, Indiana). Rahman, who had three straight aces to help USI jump out to an 11-1 lead in game two, also had a .368 attacking percentage as well as four blocks in the victory.
Junior setter Stephanie Wilson
(Terre Haute, Indiana) had a match-high 39 assists in just three games, while junior libero Cara Keever
(Ft. Wayne, Indiana) and senior right side hitter Mandy Probst
(Wheeler, Illinois) finished with a match-high 16 and 13 digs, respectively. Probst needs just 31 digs to move into first place all-time on USI's career list.
The Eagles return to action Saturday when they host the University of Missouri-St. Louis at 3 p.m. Missouri-St. Louis (5-9, 2-2 GLVC) lost to No. 20 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Friday night.
