Eagles sweep Riverwomen in three
at Southern Indiana (10-5, 4-3 GLVC): 3

Senior outside hitter Chelse Doubler (Griffin, Indiana) had a match-high 19 kills and a .607 attacking percentage to lead the University of Southern Indiana volleyball team to a 30-13, 31-29, 30-18 victory over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday afternoon.
The Screaming Eagles (10-5, 4-3 GLVC) hit .519 in game one and .667 in game three as they finished with a season-best .413 attacking percentage.
USI also got 10 kills and a .318 attacking percentage from freshman outside hitter Courtney Bealor
(LaPorte, Indiana) as well as eight kills and a .412 attacking percentage out of junior middle blocker Molly Rahman
(Ferdinand, Indiana). Bealor led USI with eight digs, while junior setter Stephanie Wilson
(Terre Haute, Indiana) tallied a match-high 42 assists.
The Eagles also benefited from 14 service aces, four of which came from Bealor during one rotation in the third game. Senior right side hitter Mandy Probst
(Wheeler, Illinois) led the Eagles with five aces. Probst, who had six digs, needs just 26 digs to become USI's all-time career leader.
USI gets a break from GLVC play next weekend when it travels to Alabama to take on No. 19 University of North Alabama Thursday at 7 p.m. the University of West Georgia Friday at 7 p.m. in Florence, Alabama and the University of Alabama-Huntsville Saturday at 3 p.m.
