EVANSVILLE, Ind.University of Southern Indiana volleyball senior outside hitter Chelse Doubler (Griffin, Indiana) will be looking for her 1,000th career kill when the Screaming Eagles return to the Physical Activities Center this weekend. USI hosts Lewis University Friday at 7 p.m. and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Saturday at 2 p.m. Saturday's match is Varsity Club Day for the volleyball team.

Doubler, who his third in the conference with 3.83 kills per game (kpg), needs just nine kills to become the ninth player in school history to reach the 1,000-kill plateau. She also will join fellow classmate Emily Ryan (Batesville, Indiana) on the list, marking the first time in school history that the Eagles will have two players on the same roster with 1,000 career kills.

Ryan, who reached the milestone earlier this season, ranks seventh all-time at USI with 1,101 kills and needs just 49 more to move into the top five at USI. She is eighth in the GLVC with 3.57 kpg.

USI (14-7, 6-4 GLVC), which is 10th in the latest NCAA II Great Lakes Regional Poll, also is getting great production at the net from freshman middle blocker Ashley Henricks (Greenwood, Indiana) and junior middle blocker Molly Rahman (Ferdinand, Indiana).
