Eagles place three on All-GLVC squad,
Doubler named first team
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Three University of Southern Indiana volleyball players were named to the All-GLVC teams in an announcement by the conference office Wednesday.
Senior outside hitters Chelse Doubler (Griffin, Indiana) and Emily Ryan (Batesville, Indiana) were named to the first and second teams, respectively, while junior setter Stephanie Wilson (Terre Haute, Indiana) was named honorable mention.

Doubler led USI and was third in the GLVC during the regular season with 3.92 kills per game. She also ranked third in the conference in service aces per game (0.56), second in points per game (4.97), and ninth in attacking percentage (.299). This marks the second straight season Doubler has earned All-GLVC honors after earning honorable mention accolades as a junior in 2005.

Emily Ryan |
Ryan, who is on the All-GLVC squad for the second straight year after earning first-team honors last season, was second on the team and 10th in the league with 3.60 kills per game. She also was eighth in the conference with 4.19 points per game.

Stephanie Wilson |
Wilson also is a multiple-time All-GLVC honoree after earning first-team honors as a freshman and sophomore. She finished sixth in the regular season with 11.34 assists per game.
The Screaming Eagles (17-10, 9-7 GLVC) finished sixth in the regular-season GLVC standings and open the GLVC Tournament Thursday at noon with the third seed, Lewis University (22-5, 14-2 GLVC), in Edwardsville, Illinois.
