Pund nets All-Tournament honors

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana junior setter
Melanie Pund (Ferdinand, Indiana) earned All-Tournament honors for her performance at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Invitational this past weekend.
Pund helped lead the Screaming Eagles' volleyball team to a 3-1 mark, including three straight wins to close out the weekend's slate.
In 15 sets, Pund averaged 9.27 assists, 1.13 kills, 1.80 digs, and 0.80 blocks. She averaged more than 10 assists per set in USI's three victories.
USI opens its GLVC and home schedule Friday at 7 p.m. when it hosts Missouri University of Science & Technology at the Physical Activities Center. The Eagles also host the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday at 3 p.m.
