HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Teutopolis High School (Teutopolis, Illinois) where she earned three varsity letters in basketball...garnered third-team All-State honors from the Illinois Basketball Coaches' Association and played in the IBCA All-Star Game...averaged 9.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as a senior in 2006-07...also recorded 37 blocks and 27 steals while helping THS to a 27-6 record...helped THS to a four-year record of 102-29...in addition to multiple All-Conference and All-Tournament awards, Thompson was named All-Area by the Effingham Daily News...also was named to the Decatur All-Area team...member of the National Honor Society, Thompson also has been active in the THS Student Council, German Club, and Varsity Club.
PERSONAL: Born May 10, 1989...daughter of Jeff and Laurie Thompson...mother, Laurie, was her high school coach.
