Canned foods equal free bench seats for Eagles' game against Ill.-Springfield
The University of Southern Indiana Department of Athletics and the USI Student Athlete Advisory Committee is teaming up for a canned food drive. Anyone who brings a canned food item to the USI women’s basketball game Monday, December 29, will get a free bench seat to watch the Screaming Eagles take on the University of Illinois-Springfield.
Fans are encouraged to bring as many perishable items as possible. The USI/Illinois-Springfield women’s basketball game is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. at the Physical Activities Center.

Eagles ready to return to hardwood,
Eagles flying south to Cancun
The University of Southern Indiana women’s basketball team is making its final preparations for its trip to Cancun, Mexico, to compete in the Torneo Cancun De Basquetbol. The Screaming Eagles, which will leave Evansville Thursday afternoon, will take on Assumption College at 5 p.m. Sunday, December 21, and #19 Arkansas Tech University at 7 p.m. Monday, December 22.
