USI women’s basketball enter regional rankings
The University of Southern Indiana women’s basketball team is ranked eighth in the latest NCAA II Great Lakes Regional Rankings. It marks the first time this season and the first time since the 2001-02 season that the Screaming Eagles have been ranked in the top 10 of the region.
From the GLVC, Quincy University is ranked first in the region, while the University of Indianapolis and Northern Kentucky University were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively. Lewis University entered the regional rankings at 10th.
USI (12-5, 6-5 GLVC) will play the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
