USI basketball games to be televised Saturday
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men’s and women’s basketball games against Lewis University Saturday will be televised via tape delay on Insight Cable Channel 2. The women’s game will be aired at 4 p.m. and the men’s game will follow at 6 p.m. Check your local listings to confirm air times.
USI’s women (12-10, 5-10 GLVC) are coming off a 72-64 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Thursday evening and are tied for eighth in the GLVC standings with Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The Screaming Eagles will honor their four seniors prior to Saturday’s 1 p.m. tip-off at the Physical Activities Center.
The men’s team (18-4, 13-2 GLVC) is coming off an 88-64 victory over the UWP and hold a two-game lead over SIUE and the University of Indianapolis for first place in the GLVC. USI will honor its three seniors prior to its 3:15 p.m. tip-off.
Saturday also is homecoming for the Eagles and the USI Alumni Association will host a homecoming party featuring complimentary food booths and music in PAC 200.
